Solis FlexHome Low Voltage BMS Control Unit for 5-40kWh Stackable Batteries
This is the BMS of the Solis FlexHome low-voltage series, the intelligent unit that runs a pack of stackable battery modules: it watches cells, voltages and temperatures, handles balancing and talks to the inverter. It is what turns a pack into a system rather than a pile of unconnected batteries.
Order it together with FlexHome LV battery modules: Solis notes that a complete system needs 1 BMS plus at least 1 battery module (module code SOL-SBAT-R5K-L-ST-OD), bought separately. The BMS on its own stores no energy.
The low-voltage FlexHome series spans 5kWh to 40kWh in 5kWh steps, because each module works as a standalone unit and the system accepts up to 4 units in parallel. The cells are LiFePO4, with a declared depth of discharge of 90% or more and over 6,000 cycles, around a decade of average service life. The unit weighs 20kg.
