Lynx Class-T Power In
Two Class T fuses on a 1000A busbar, inside the Lynx system
1000A DC busbar · 2 fuse positions · 9-60Vdc · lugs to 120mm²
This is the module that brings Class T protection into a Victron Lynx distribution system. It carries two Class T fuses, one per battery string, on a tinned copper busbar rated 1000A DC continuous. Lynx modules bolt to each other to form one continuous positive and negative bar, so with three or more battery strings you simply add another module.
Only 225-400A fuses fit, and they are not included. The fuse studs are 3/8" with 46.7mm centres, which is the large Class T format: the 110-200A sizes have an M8 hole at 42.86mm centres and will not go in. Victron does not stock the fuses, so order them with the module. MEGA fuses do not fit either: those belong in the Lynx Distributor.

What it is for
It is the fused entry point of the DC bus: battery strings come in through the fuses, everything else hangs off the common busbar, and there is a system earthing point on board. Fuse each string individually rather than protecting the whole bank behind one fuse: that way a single battery fault does not take the bank down and you can see which string opened.
Fitting it
- Bolt the module to the adjacent Lynx modules so the internal bars make one continuous run.
- Land the battery cables on the M10 busbar with ring lugs, torqued to 33Nm.
- Fit one Class T fuse per string, with the system isolated.
- If a fuse flange does not sit flat on the bar, rotate the fuse 180° about its long axis: the manual calls this out explicitly.
- Connect the DC system earthing point as the installation requires.
MEGA, Class T or NH: which fuse to choose
Three fuse families are actually used on the DC side of a 48V battery system, and they are interchangeable neither mechanically nor in performance.
